## How to use it
1. **Copy the link.** Copy the full address of the page from your browser, including https://.
2. **Paste it in.** Paste the link into the box in Web Page to PDF.
3. **Choose a layout.** In the right-hand panel, pick printable pages or one long page, and the browser width the page should be laid out at.
4. **Save the PDF.** Click Save PDF. OneMacTools loads the page in a private browser view, scrolls through it so lazy-loaded pictures appear, and captures it.
5. **Open the result.** The PDF is named after the page's title and saved in a dated folder in Downloads › OneMacTools. Use the Preview (eye) button or Show in Finder to open it.

## Options
- **Layout:** Pages (the default) cuts the page into printable sheets. One long page keeps the whole web page as a single tall page, exactly as it scrolls, which is best for reading on screen or keeping a visual record.
- **Page size:** A4 or US Letter. Only shown when Layout is set to Pages. The page is scaled to fit the paper width.
- **Browser width:** Desktop (1280 px), Tablet (820 px) or Phone (390 px). Sites change their layout with screen width, so Phone often gives a simpler, single-column PDF without sidebars.

## Tips
- For articles you want to print, try Phone width with Pages: the text comes out larger and in one column, with fewer menus and sidebars.
- Pages are cut between lines of text, so a line is never split across two pages. Choose One long page to keep the whole page in one piece.
- The page is loaded in a private view with no cookies, so anything behind a login or paywall shows as a logged-out visitor would see it. For those, use your browser's own print to PDF.
- If pictures are missing, the site is probably loading them very late. Try again, or save the page at a different width.
- To make a saved page smaller to email, run the result through Compress PDF.

## Questions
**How do I save a web page as a PDF on a Mac?**
Paste the page's link into Web Page to PDF, choose Pages or One long page, and click Save PDF. The PDF lands in Downloads › OneMacTools, named after the page.

**How do I save a whole web page as one long PDF without page breaks?**
Set Layout to One long page. The whole page becomes a single tall PDF page, just as it looks when you scroll, with nothing cut between pages.

**Can I save a page I'm logged in to, like a bank statement or order?**
Not reliably. The page loads in a private view without your browser's logins, so you'll get the logged-out version. Use your browser's Print › Save as PDF for those pages.

**Why does the PDF look different from my browser?**
Many sites change their layout with window width. Change Browser width to Desktop, Tablet or Phone to get the version you want.

**Is the text in the PDF selectable and searchable?**
Yes. The page is captured as a vector PDF, so text stays as real text you can search, select and copy.

**Can I save several web pages at once?**
Web Page to PDF takes one link at a time. Save each page, then combine them with Merge PDF if you want one file.
