## How to use it
1. **Install FFmpeg once.** The first time, OneMacTools offers to install FFmpeg through Homebrew with one click.
2. **Drop your videos.** Add the sideways, upside-down or mirrored clips.
3. **Choose the transform.** Pick Rotate 90° right, Rotate 90° left, Rotate 180°, Flip horizontally or Flip vertically in the right-hand panel.
4. **Click Rotate.** The picture is turned or flipped and re-encoded, so it plays the right way up in every app.
5. **Check the result.** Copies ending in “rotated” are saved in a new dated folder in Downloads › OneMacTools. Play them with the Preview (eye) button or Show in Finder. Your originals are left as they were.

## Options
- **Transform:** Rotate 90° right (clockwise), Rotate 90° left (anticlockwise), Rotate 180°, Flip horizontally (mirror left to right) or Flip vertically (upside down mirror).

## Tips
- If the top of the picture is on the left, choose Rotate 90° right. If it's on the right, choose Rotate 90° left.
- Try one clip first, then drop the rest of a batch once you know which way it needs turning.
- Use Flip horizontally to un-mirror a selfie video, so text in the background reads the right way.
- Rotation is baked into the picture, not stored as a hidden setting, so the video looks right on websites and players that ignore rotation flags.

## Questions
**How do I rotate a video on a Mac?**
Drop it onto Rotate & Flip Video, choose Rotate 90° right or left, and click Rotate. The turned copy is saved as a new file.

**How do I fix a video that was filmed sideways?**
Choose the rotation that brings the top of the picture back to the top: 90° right if it's lying on its left side, 90° left if it's on its right.

**How do I mirror a video?**
Choose Flip horizontally. It swaps left and right, which un-mirrors front-camera selfie videos.

**How do I turn an upside-down video the right way up?**
Choose Rotate 180°. Flip vertically isn't the same: it also mirrors the picture.

**Does rotating affect the sound?**
No. The audio is kept exactly as it was in MP4, MOV and MKV files. Only WebM audio is re-encoded.
