## How to use it
1. **Drop your images.** Add the sideways scans or photos you want to fix. All of them get the same turn or flip.
2. **Choose the transform.** Rotate 90° right or left, rotate 180°, or flip horizontally or vertically.
3. **Click Rotate.** Each image is turned and saved with “rotated” added to its name, in its original format.
4. **Check the copies.** They're saved in a new dated folder in Downloads › OneMacTools. Use the Preview (eye) button or Show in Finder. Your originals are not changed.

## Options
- **Transform:** Rotate 90° right (clockwise), Rotate 90° left (anticlockwise), Rotate 180°, Flip horizontally (mirror left to right) or Flip vertically (upside-down mirror).

## Tips
- Group your images first. Put the ones that need turning right in one batch and the ones that need turning left in another.
- Flip horizontally fixes mirrored selfies and text that reads backwards in a front-camera photo.
- The pixels themselves are turned, so the result looks the same in every app and website, not only on your Mac.
- For PDF pages, use Rotate PDF instead, which turns pages without re-saving them as images.

## Questions
**How do I rotate many photos at once on a Mac?**
Drop them onto Rotate & Flip Images, choose the direction and click Rotate. Every photo in the batch is turned the same way.

**Why does my photo look upright on my Mac but sideways on a website?**
Phones often save photos sideways with a note telling apps to turn them, which some websites ignore. Running the photo through this tool turns the actual pixels, so it shows the same way everywhere.

**How do I mirror a selfie?**
Choose Flip horizontally. Text in the photo will read the right way round again.

**Does rotating reduce the quality?**
PNG and TIFF are lossless, so nothing changes. JPEG and HEIC are re-saved at a high quality setting, so any difference is very hard to see.

**Can I rotate some images left and others right?**
Run the tool twice: once with the images that need turning right, then with the ones that need turning left.
