## How to use it
1. **Drop your photos.** Add at least two photos. Drag them in the list to put them in the order you want; the collage follows that order.
2. **Choose the layout.** Grid for several photos, Row for side by side, or Column for a stack.
3. **Style it.** Choose whether photos are cropped to fill their space or shown whole, and set the spacing, background and width.
4. **Click Make Collage.** All the photos are combined into one image called Collage.
5. **Share it.** The collage is saved in a new dated folder in Downloads › OneMacTools. Open it with the Preview (eye) button or Show in Finder.

## Options
- **Layout:** Grid arranges photos in rows and columns, as close to square as possible, and centres an incomplete last row. Row puts every photo side by side. Column stacks them top to bottom.
- **Photos:** Crop to fill makes every photo fill its space with no gaps, trimming the edges. Show whole photo keeps each photo uncropped, with background showing around photos of a different shape.
- **Spacing:** From 0 to 60 px, 16 px by default, measured at 2048 px wide and scaled up for wider collages. Set it to 0 for photos that touch.
- **Background:** White, Black or Transparent. Shows in the spacing and around whole photos. White and black collages are saved as JPEG; transparent ones as PNG.
- **Width:** 2048, 3000 or 4096 px. The height follows from the layout and the photos' shape.

## Tips
- Use photos of a similar shape. Each space takes the average shape of all your photos, so mixing portrait and landscape means more cropping or more background.
- For a before-and-after, add two photos in order and choose Row.
- Grids look best with 4, 6 or 9 photos, which fill every row.
- Choose 2048 px for messaging and social media, and 4096 px if you plan to print the collage.
- Need the collage in a particular shape, like a square post? Run it through Crop Images or Social Media Image Resizer afterwards.
