## How to use it
1. **Add the PDF.** Drop one or more PDFs onto Pages per Sheet.
2. **Choose the layout.** Pick 2, 4, 6 or 9 pages per sheet, and A4 or US Letter paper.
3. **Decide on borders.** Leave the thin border on to make each page easy to tell apart, or turn it off for a cleaner look.
4. **Click Arrange.** A new PDF ending in “2-up”, “4-up” and so on is saved in a dated folder in Downloads › OneMacTools, ready to print.

## Options
- **Pages per sheet:** 2, 4, 6 or 9 (2 by default). 2 and 6 use a landscape sheet, 4 and 9 a portrait sheet, so portrait pages stay as large as possible.
- **Sheet:** A4 or US Letter. Choose the paper in your printer.
- **Draw a thin border around each page:** On by default. Draws a light grey outline around each page so slides and pages with white edges are easy to separate.

## Tips
- Use 6 per sheet for lecture slides you want to annotate, and 2 per sheet when the text needs to stay readable.
- 9 per sheet makes text very small. It's best for spotting the structure of a long document, not reading it.
- When printing the result, set your printer to 100% or actual size, so the layout isn't shrunk a second time.
- Pages are placed left to right, then top to bottom, in the PDF's page order. Fix the order first with Organize PDF if needed.

## Questions
**How do I print multiple PDF pages on one sheet on a Mac?**
Drop the PDF onto Pages per Sheet, choose 2, 4, 6 or 9 pages and the paper size, and click Arrange. Print the new PDF as normal.

**How do I make slide handouts from a PDF?**
Choose 6 pages per sheet with borders on. Slides are laid out three across and two down on a landscape sheet.

**Which way round will the sheet be?**
2 and 6 per sheet use landscape paper; 4 and 9 use portrait. This keeps normal portrait pages as big as they can be.

**Will the text stay sharp?**
Yes. Pages are scaled down rather than turned into pictures, so text stays crisp, just smaller.

**What if the last sheet isn't full?**
The remaining spaces are left empty. Nothing is stretched to fill them.
